Nick Fader graduated from Vesper George School of
Art and attended Massachusetts College of Art where he studied photography
and photojournalism. In 1973 Nick Founded the nationally recognized
design firm of Fader Jones + Zarkades (FJ+Z ). FJ+Z, which quickly
grew into a thirty-person design firm, worked on national and international
brands such as Polaroid, Gillette, Ocean Spray and Revlon. Nick served
as President of FJ+Z for 17 years.
In
1990 Nick went on to form Marketing
By Design (MBD), during this time the “digital revolution”
was taking place. Recognizing graphic art and design would be produced
on computers MBD invested heavily in technology becoming a recognized
leader in the field of digital art production and workflow.
In
1995 Workflow By Design
(WBD) was established to assist clients in implementing digital
workflows for their graphics. A database management system for corporate
design departments, an on-line approval system and a Internet based
Digital Asset Management system were all developed by WBD.
In
October 2003 Nick sold all his interest in MBD and WBD to the Intouch
Group PLC, the largest independent prepress house in Europe and
started Ditto Editions. |

Co-owner
Susan Fader attended Rhode Island School of Design and
graduated from Philadelphia College of Art with a bachelor of Fine
Art degree. Upon graduation, Susan headed the advertising department
of a large retail chain before opening her own agency, Design Studio
Two in 1980.
Based
in the Philadelphia market, her design firm specialized in consumer
product design for accounts such as Campbell Soup Company, Whitman
Chocolates and others. In 1989 Susan sold her interest in her agency
and went into the promotions industry where she sold products and
services to large pharmaceutical companies becoming one of the top
performers in the $20 million agency that employed her.
Susan
has kept her interest in Fine Art working in Chinese watercolor,
traditional western fine art, decorative furniture painting, and
wall murals, In 1999 Susan established Cushion /Art, fine art for
your furniture. Susan has won many awards for her work which was
also included in Art in Bloom at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
Most recently, Susan was selected for a 30 minute segment about
her work by cable television station, HGTV.
In
addition to co-owning Ditto Editions with her husband, Susan manages
myartmarketingcoach.com,
a division of Ditto Editions. She also serves on the board of LynnArts
(lynnarrts.org) and is a Vice
President of the Creative Economy of the The North Shore (CEANS.org). |
